WHAT IS MY IDENTITY?
Your identity is the username/password combination(s) you use to access various electronic services such as the computer labs, MyUA, Blackboard, and email. Currently, however, some users have multiple usernames and passwords that they use for different systems. UAA IT Services is in the process of consolidating these usernames so that all services can be accessed with a single username and password.
WHAT IS MY UAA USERNAME?
If you are an employee, your UAA username is what you use to sign in to most current services. Over the next year, employees will be migrated to the UA username standard as well. Once this process is complete you will have a single username for University of Alaska and University of Alaska Anchorage services. Example of UAA Username: asjdw50 or anlbw
WHAT IS MY UA USERNAME?
Your UA username is a University of Alaska systemwide username. Currently students use this account for most electronic services such as Webmail, Blackboard, and Computer labs. Your UA username is your first initial, followed by your middle initial (if you have one), your last name, and possibly a number to guarantee uniqueness. Example of UA Username: jdwatson or lbweld
